For centuries, Sonberk has produced some of the best dry wines in Central Europe, becoming a favourite of European nobility.
Praised for its excellence, since the early 16th-century Sonberk’s vineyards were regularly supplying the Bohemian and Austrian kings with wine. The vineyards have grown and developed dramatically since then, yet one thing hasn’t changed - the wine. The present-day vineyards are dominated by Sonberk’s massive masterpiece of modern architecture. What’s more, visitors can taste Sonberk’s world-class products. It is also possible to combine the tasting with a tour around the vineyards and learn about the process sustainable grape growing. The tour needs to be reserved two days prior arrival. Reservations are not required for the wine tasting, but we still recommend checking their availability in advance.
