Bosnia and Herzegovina
Trebinje is the southernmost city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located 25km from the sea. It's a city of cultural and historical heritage and is believed to be one of the most beautiful towns in the country.
Trebinje is located in the valley of the Trebisnjica River on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Croatia. Less overrun by its neighboring cities, Trebinje exudes a warm and hospitable personality. The city’s walled old town is still fully intact and one of the few in the country not heavily damaged by war. Today, there are many restaurants and fine wines in Trebinje’s old town. The city’s most famous landmark is the beautiful Ottoman Arslanagic Bridge with its picture-perfect views. The mid-sized city also has many temples, churches, mosques, markets, and a museum waiting to be explored.
