Cool off and enjoy the natural splendor of this lush park that's been a recreation destination since the 1800s.
Beautiful vistas, stunning natural landscape and plenty of peace await your visit at Wekiwa Springs State Park. Wekiwa is a hiking hotspot, with 14 miles of trails on offer for all abilities and fitness levels. The “Wet to Dry trail” is the shortest in length, but it’s certainly not short on natural beauty. It begins where Wekiwa Springs forms the Wekiwa River, and a gentle stroll up the boardwalk at a steady incline bring you above the spring. For an intermediate hike take the 5.3 mile “Orange trail”, where you’ll spot all kinds of native flora and fauna. Experienced hikers can take the longer 12.6 mile “White trail” through the lush Floridian terrain. Equestrian enthusiasts have the option of horseback riding, while aquaphiles will be spoiled for choice with kayaking, boating, snorkeling and ample swimming opportunities in the crystal clear emerald spring waters!
