Konewka Bunker
One of three main command centers for Hitler on the Eastern Front, the long railroad tunnel and smaller bunkers have been converted into a museum.
About
While it doesnât have the same name-recognition as the Wolfâs Lair, where the most famous assassination attempt on Hitler took place, this fortified railroad house is one of only 14 bunkers considered FĂźhrer Headquarters. During the war, Hitler never visited the complex, and thus, it was never a target for Allied attack. Today, the straight, 380 meter long tunnel houses exhibitions on military engineering, including bunkers, trains, and armaments, as well as life in the bunkers.
