5 dic 2019“For the most part the transfer was great and I would definitely recommend it. The reason I took a star off is because we expected to arrive in Dubrovnik around 2:15 and we didn't arrive until 4:00. The driver was great, the day before they called to ask about our luggage to make sure they brought the right car to accommodate us. There wasn't much chatting but they were very nice. We did feel like we got off the highway to avoid tolls & this is what caused the late arrival in Dubrovnik. But again over all a great trip & I would use this company again for a transfer.”

14 jun 2019“I found Daytrip in my online searches for some form of transport that could get me to from Split south to Dubrovnik. (Other options include traveling by boat, or hiring your own car but the latter can be daunting as one has to drive through Bosnia-Herzegovina and one may need extra paperwork etc. etc.). I booked several months in advance - and it was wonderful! Ivo, my driver, was very polite, on time, accommodating, a safe driver, and his English was great. His car was also very clean. Additionally, he was on What'sApp, and since Daytrip had provided his contact info a few days prior to the trip, I was able to connect with him to confirm logistics, without having to worry about international mobile phone fees. (He was even able to pick me up from the Split ferry terminal, and knew where to find me; as a tourist, you're not going to know what to expect once you land so the local's knowledge here was very helpful in making sure customer and driver got connected.) I was a little afraid about making the reservation so far in advance, but was very relieved when the website sent me a more detailed reminder a few days before the pickup. The service overall, from booking to the day of the ride, and the trip to Mostar, were all great. For a solo traveler visiting Croatia for the first time, this was a huge relief. I felt safe at all times with my driver. The border crossing was seamless, and the trip to Mostar was tailored to my interests given an approximate timeframe dedicated to the sightseeing (Daytrip is a little vague on the page that details this booking).”

16 oct 2018All Daytrip drivers speak English* as well as their native language (and sometimes additional languages too!). They'll be happy to discuss local history and culture with you, as well as answer any questions you may have. And because they speak the language, they're able to provide you with a unique opportunity to connect with local culture. *Drivers for Lite service aren't required to speak English but must meet all other standards.
We screen all our drivers for criminal and traffic records, and personally interview each one. We also inspect their cars for safety, comfort, and reliability. All cars must be less than ten years old, in excellent operating condition, and insured as required by local law. And because our drivers are locals, they're familiar with the rules and customs of the road.
If you’re traveling with children, make sure to let us know in the booking so we can get the appropriate child seats ready!
Pets are allowed (and loved)! We just need to know beforehand. You can tell us about them in the next phase of the booking.
Gratuity isn’t included or required, but if you really enjoyed your trip, you can show your driver your appreciation with an optional tip (10% is sufficient).
Each passenger is allowed to have one checked bag and one carry on. If you’re traveling with more bags or oversized luggage, you can adjust this while booking.
Pay by credit card online, or in cash directly to your driver!
Every traveler deserves real insight into the cultures of the countries they’re visiting. And every amazing place on Earth deserves to be visited and appreciated. We believe unique local knowledge and real human connection are irreplaceable when it comes to truly comprehending another culture.
