Lata Iskandar Waterfall Tapah
Take a quick detour on your way up to the highlands at this roadside waterfall.
À propos
This waterfall is a popular stop for travelers heading to the Cameron Highlands, as it lies along the Tapah-Cameron Highlands road (Route 59). Towering amidst thick green jungles, Lata Iskandar Waterfall sticks out from the landscape. The waterfall features a multi-level drop and a series of natural pools where visitors of all ages can wade, swim, or simply relax with their feet in the water on warm, tropical days. The local authorities have invested in upgraded amenities around the waterfall, and now the waterfall has tiled walkways, covered areas for lounging, restrooms, designated parking, and a new concrete bridge. Eat a packed lunch at one of the many gazebos with benches, or visit an on-site food stall to see the daily menu. Merchants also sell locally made crafts like woven baskets and jewelry. The concrete steps that connect the upper and lower levels of the waterfall may be slippery, so please bring non-slip shoes that have a back strap.
