From Rovinj to Venice by ferry

One of the most popular ways to travel from Rovinj to Venice is by ferry. Venezia Lines operates a daily ferry, which can get you to Venice in about three hours and 45 minutes. Tickets cost between $75 and $100, making this the most expensive option if you're traveling in a group.

The ferry isn't the most reliable option since the single daily departure is still weather-dependent. You'll also want to pack lightly, as hopping on and off with lots of luggage can be challenging.

From Rovinj to Venice by private car

It's worth setting an alarm to come here to watch the sunrise. Numerous shops line its pathway and lead to the market at its end, which has been in operation for more than 1,000 years. Gallerie dell’Accademia

When Napoleon conquered Venice, he stole thousands of the city's best Renaissance artworks and moved them to France. Fortunately, many of these priceless artworks have been recovered since then and are now a part of the vast Gallerie dell'Accademia gallery.

Despite the many masterpieces on display, it's not nearly as popular as other galleries in Venice, making it the ideal place to enjoy the art without the crowds. When you visit, expect high ceilings and endless art by some of the greatest artists to have ever lived, like Tintoretto, Titian, Carpaccio, and Bellini.

Alternatively, come in the fall. In September and October, temperatures are still a balmy 75.2° F (24° C), the summer crowds have mostly dissipated, and accommodations and attractions are considerably cheaper.
