"Pedro was a fabulous driver that was full of information about his beautiful country. He was a pleasure to have transport us with historical stories to tell, as well as, pointing out different areas along our route that would be great places to visit. Technically, it is possible to take a taxi from Lisbon to Nazare, but few do this because of how expensive it can be. Although the distance between the two places is about 78 miles, you should expect to pay upwards of $70 one way, and this price can spike during peak seasons and the holidays. So consider this when considering a taxi as your transportation to Nazare.

Unfortunately, there is no train to Nazare from Lisbon despite the distance between them being less than 100 miles. If you want to travel between these two places, you must take a local bus with one of the two bus lines offering trips or book with a private car service like Daytrip.
