Cenote San Lorenzo Oxman sits about 100 miles (160 km) west of Cancun, on the outskirts of the colonial town of Valladolid. The drive takes roughly two hours each way, crossing the Yucatan Peninsula through small villages and dense jungle. Iglesia de Uayma is a brief detour from the main route, allowing both stops to be combined comfortably in a single day trip.
Cenote Oxman works well for families with children who can swim confidently, since the water is deep. Life jackets are typically available for rent on-site.
