The drive from Saranda to Dhermi takes approximately 1.5 hours along the coastal road. From Dhermi, Llogara National Park is about another 30 minutes further north. The total round trip is a full-day journey of about 10 hours and 45 minutes, making this one of Daytrip's longer and more immersive Albanian day trips.

Llogara National Park sits high in the Ceraunian Mountains above the Albanian Riviera and offers a completely different experience from the beach. The park is famous for its dramatic mountain pass views, ancient pine forests, and the iconic "Pine Flags" — trees bent permanently by the wind into sweeping horizontal shapes that have become a symbol of the park. On a clear day, the panoramas stretching down to the coast are absolutely breathtaking.
Late spring through early autumn (May to September) is ideal for this trip. Dhermi Beach is at its best in summer, while Llogara National Park is pleasant from spring through autumn. July and August are the busiest months, so consider visiting in June or September for a more relaxed experience. In winter, mountain roads near Llogara can be challenging.
