The seaside Lungomare promenade is flat and accessible, perfect for easy strolling. Most modern hotels offer accessible facilities. The train station has elevators, though some older buildings may lack accessibility features.
Rapallo has its own train station on the coastal line connecting Genoa and La Spezia, making it easily accessible. Regular trains run from Genoa and other Riviera towns. The nearest airport is Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport, about 40 kilometers (24 miles) away. Boats connect to Portofino during summer months.
Rapallo is an excellent base for exploring the Italian Riviera. Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, and Camogli are all easily reachable by train or boat. The Cinque Terre is accessible within an hour by train. Genoa is just 30 minutes away by train, making day trips throughout Liguria convenient and enjoyable.
