This road has numerous squiggly hairpin bends and awful traffic at certain times of the day. So you'll focus more on your driving than the incredible once-in-a-lifetime sights.

Although when you visit will depend on your travel preferences, the best time to visit Amalfi is generally in the spring or fall.
These seasons offer milder weather with balmy temperatures and plenty of sunshine. The spring and fall have minimal rainy days, and the warm weather makes strolling the long streets in the afternoon comfortable.
There are also fewer crowds and lower prices in the spring and fall than you would find in the summer during peak season. However, if you're interested in a festive vibe, visiting Amalfi in December might be best for you since the town features beautiful lights and divine food during this time of year.
