You also won’t need to transfer buses, since it is a direct route. Tickets start at around €22.

Many buildings and walkways in Split are made of glistening white limestone, and there are very few trees, so the urban heat island effect makes the city feel warmer than on the shore or on Plitvice Lakes.
Visit during March-June or September-November to avoid the worst of the summer heat and have some smaller crowds. Outdoor walking tours will also be easier to manage with cooler temperatures.

Unsere Fahrten fanden in Kroatien und Bosnien & Herzegowina statt, wie folgt: Split nach Lake Plitvice (Stopp in Krka), Plitvice nach Split, Split nach Mostar (Stopp in Pocitelj) und Mostar nach Dubrovnik (Stopps im Blagaj Tekija-Kloster und im Tvrdos-Kloster für eine Weinführung). Alle Fahrer waren sehr gut: pünktlich, freundlich, sprachen Englisch, gaben uns interessante Informationen und waren leicht per Text und E-Mail zur Koordination zu erreichen. Die Fahrzeuge waren sauber und in gutem Zustand. Wir haben in Betracht gezogen, ein Auto zu mieten, aber festgestellt, dass wir es in keiner Stadt/auf keiner Insel (Hvar, Split, Plitvice, Mostar, Dubrovnik) nutzen würden. Parkplätze waren eine Herausforderung und teuer. Es gab weniger Fährmöglichkeiten, wenn wir das Auto mitgenommen hätten (und es wäre teurer gewesen).”
