From Porto to Seville by bus

BlaBlaCar Bus is the only private bus-pooling line that offers trips from Porto to Seville, and unlike other bus lines, the tickets can be pricey. On average, BlaBlaCar Bus offers trips to Seville from Porto once daily, and ticket prices cost between $55 and $77 (€50.50-€70) one way. A trip also takes about nine and a half hours to get from one city to the next.

Unfortunately, many customers have had bad experiences with BlaBlaCar Bus, so it might be worthwhile to look into alternatives with better reputations, like Flixbus and RenEX. Both bus lines offer trips daily, but they are not cheap. A ticket costs around the same price as BlaBlaCar Buses. In addition, these buses take between 10 and 12 hours to reach Seville, so they are not fast.

From Porto to Seville by train

Although a train offers a connecting bus trip, it is often best to travel the entire way by train if you can afford it, as it requires less effort and is a more streamlined process. However, taking a train the entire way is more time-consuming, with an average trip taking about 12 hours and 10 minutes and costing between $50 and $100 (€46-€92).

Two train lines, Comboios De Portugal and Renfe Viajeros, offer trips from Porto to Seville. The former covers the first half of the trip, while the latter takes you the rest of the way.

Unfortunately, taking a train will involve multiple stops and transfers in different cities and towns along the route. You won't get to tour these places as there won't be enough time between transfers.

From Porto to Seville by flight

If you're hoping a flight is the most convenient and easiest way to travel from Porto to Seville, we're sorry to disappoint. Unfortunately, there isn't a direct plane between these two cities with major airlines. If you want to take a plane, you will first need to hop on a train that will take you to Maia, and from there, you will fly to Faro.

Once you arrive in Faro, after an hour and 10-minute flight, you will need to take a bus to Seville. This bus takes about two hours and 45 minutes to complete the trip, but the bad news is a bus only leaves every four hours, so you might be in for a bit of a wait. Not to mention, the entire trip could cost you well over $250 (€230).

From Porto to Seville by private car

Es war eine fantastische Reise.

“Wir waren äußerst zufrieden mit der Qualität des Services, den wir von Day Trip erhalten haben. Wir hatten zwei Fahrten mit Day Trip, am 31. August von Athen nach Lefkada und am 7. September von Lefkada zurück nach Athen. Beide Fahrten beinhalteten Stopps an landschaftlich reizvollen Orten in Griechenland. Beide Fahrer waren ausgezeichnet und entgegenkommend. Besonders möchten wir jedoch Panos Peppas hervorheben, der unser Fahrer von Lefkada nach Athen war. Panos war unglaublich nett und angenehm und bot herausragenden Kundenservice, der das Tragen unseres gesamten Gepäcks, die Bereitstellung von kaltem Wasser während der Fahrt, das Bereitstellen von Proteinriegeln, das Aushändigen von Informationsmaterial über den Korinthkanal (einen der landschaftlichen Stopps), das Nachschlagen und Weitergeben von Terminal- und Gate-Informationen für unseren Rückflug sowie das Bereitstellen eines Rezepts für Tzatziki umfasste.”

“Gonzalo von Daytrip war unser Fahrer und er war absolut großartig. Er hat alles gegeben, um uns zu finden, da unser Handysignal nicht besonders gut war. Geduldig wartete er in der Lobby auf unsere Ankunft, um uns vom Tulum Dreams Resort zu unserem anderen Hotel in Cancún zu bringen, eineinhalb Stunden entfernt, in der Nähe des Flughafens, vor unserem Heimflug. Er war höflich, respektvoll und freundlich. Er sorgte dafür, dass wir uns während der langen Fahrt wohl fühlten. Schnell und auf den Punkt. “Marianna holte uns ab, um uns von Heraklion nach Chania zu fahren. Das Wetter war schrecklich und deshalb kam Marianna ein paar Minuten zu spät. Sie kontaktierte mich, um mich darüber zu informieren. Marianna lebt in Chania und machte unsere Fahrt sehr interessant, indem sie uns über lokale Aktivitäten und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Chania erzählte. Marianna ist eine sichere Fahrerin und wir fühlten uns alle wohl mit ihrer Fahrweise und Geschwindigkeit, selbst bei starkem Regen. Sie ist eine sehr nette Person und spricht fließend Englisch. DayTrip-Reise von Porto, Portugal, nach Sevilla, Spanien, mit drei Stopps

“Ich kann das Unternehmen und den Fahrer Nuno F. sehr empfehlen. Wir erhielten mehrere nützliche Erinnerungen, darunter eine mit Nunos Bild, der Art des Autos (ein komfortabler und makelloser Mercedes E-Klasse Kombi) und seiner Telefonnummer. Sie erinnerten uns sogar an die Zeitumstellung in der Nacht vor unserer Reise, was ein netter Hinweis war, da unsere Zeitumstellung in den USA bereits stattgefunden hatte. Nuno war außergewöhnlich in seiner Beschreibung der Sehenswürdigkeiten entlang des Weges, und da der Regen es uns unmöglich machte, um Castelo de Vide herumzulaufen, fuhr er uns durch die engen Straßen, die so schmal waren, dass er tatsächlich seinen Außenspiegel einklappen musste! Er machte einen ungeplanten Stopp in einem wunderbaren alten Café, das er kannte, wo wir den Besitzer trafen und eine interessante Erklärung zu den einzigartigen Fliesen an den Wänden bekamen, die Nuno für uns übersetzte. Wir bekamen eine große Wertschätzung für die Menschen und die Kultur. Aufgrund einer kurzfristigen Planänderung der Personen, die wir in Sevilla treffen sollten, mussten wir eine Stunde früher an unserem Ziel ankommen, und dank Nuno kamen wir vor der geforderten Ankunftszeit dort an. In all der Eile ließ ich meine Jacke auf dem Rücksitz seines Autos liegen, und etwa eine Stunde später kam Nuno zurück ins Hotel und fand uns beim Abendessen, um mir meine Jacke zurückzubringen. Was für ein toller Service! Wir werden DayTrip definitiv wieder nutzen – und nach Nuno fragen – wenn wir in diese schöne Gegend zurückkehren.”

Porto (Portugal) nach Sevilla (Spanien)

“Wir sind zwei ältere Paare und wollten einen privaten Transfer von Porto nach Sevilla buchen, um eine viel kompliziertere Zug- oder Flugverbindung zu vermeiden. Auch wir hatten zunächst dieselben Fragen zur Zuverlässigkeit, Sicherheit und Authentizität von Daytrip, aber nach dem Lesen der Bewertungen anderer TA-Mitglieder buchten wir einen Tagestransfer mit zwei Stopps unterwegs. Daniel F., unser Fahrer, kam pünktlich an, mit einem großen, makellosen Van und half uns mit unserem Gepäck vom Hotel. Er gab uns auch allen Wasser und ein köstliches portugiesisches Eiergebäck. Wir machten einen Stopp in Coimbra, um die Kathedrale und die Universität zu besichtigen, und besuchten ein großartiges Café. Später hielten wir in einem Straßenrestaurant zum Mittagessen. Später hielten wir in Badajoz, das leider während der Siesta geschlossen war, aber es gab uns die Gelegenheit, in einem lokalen Gasthaus ein Bier zu trinken, eine Toilette zu benutzen und einen Spaziergang zu machen, also nicht schlecht. Dann kamen wir in Sevilla an - ein wenig spät, aber noch rechtzeitig zum Abendessen. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Tag und Daniel war zu jeder Zeit ein höflicher, rücksichtsvoller und umsichtiger Fahrer. Auch wir würden nicht zögern, wieder mit Daytrip für europäische Transfers zu buchen, die wirklich eine Tour sind, aber von A nach B und nicht von A nach A führen.”

“Meine Cousine und ich brauchten einen Transfer von Porto, Portugal nach Spanien, um den Camino zu wandern. Wir wurden am Flughafen von Leonardo abgeholt. Er war äußerst professionell und freundlich. Meine Cousine und ich sind sofort nach dem langen Flug im Auto eingeschlafen. Wir wachten an unserem Zielort in Sarria auf. Leonardo wartete, bis wir unseren AirBnB-Host getroffen hatten, bevor er ging. Ich war müde und mit dem Check-in beschäftigt und wollte ihm Trinkgeld geben, aber ich vergaß es im ganzen Trubel. Leonardo, falls du das liest: Es tut mir leid, dass ich mich nicht bei dir bedankt habe. Du hast meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Ich danke dir vielmals. Du bist ein wunderbarer und freundlicher Mensch! Wir haben auch später auf der Reise diesen Service von Sevilla nach Lissabon genutzt. Evo war ebenfalls prompt und professionell. Alle Buchungen mit Daytrip sind Einzelfahrten. Wenn Sie eine Rückfahrt an einem anderen Datum benötigen, buchen Sie diese einfach als separate Einzelfahrt. Für eine Retourfahrt am selben Tag können Sie eine individualisierte Strecke anfragen (/custom-route). Während Sie Ihre Buchung bis zu 24 Stunden im Voraus stornieren können, unterliegen Änderungen, die weniger als 36 Stunden vorher angefragt werden, der Verfügbarkeit des Fahrers, insbesondere in der Hochsaison.

Jeder Passagier darf einen großen Koffer (74 x 53 x 28 cm) und eine kleine Tasche (56 x 36 x 23 cm) mitnehmen. Luxusfahrzeuge können nur 2 große Koffer transportieren. Wir stellen immer das Fahrzeug zur Verfügung, das am besten zu Ihnen und Ihrem Gepäck passt.
