Volastra to Corniglia trail

Hiking isn’t everyone's idea of fun, but if you choose to visit Cinque Terre, you will likely enjoy outdoor activities and lots of walking—especially since you’ll be walking through the five villages. This spectacular trail is a hidden treasure. To undertake the hike, you must take a bus from Manarola up to Volastra, which only takes 10 minutes. Once you reach Volastra, you’ll begin your hike in this tiny village and cross narrow trails through terraced vineyards. The hike will take about two hours, and you’ll see incredible sights, from quaint villages and highland vineyards to coastlines and rolling waves.

The last section of the hike takes you underneath a forested canopy, which is often a relief after the blazing sun. Yet, since the trails are narrow and the pathway rugged, this hike can be challenging, so it might not be beginner-friendly. So, keep this in mind before you plan your trip.
