Leave Siena behind as cypress-lined roads lead you west, past rolling hills and golden fields. First stop: Pisa, where the Leaning Tower tilts into view like a surreal mirage. Then on to Lucca, where Renaissance walls cradle hidden gardens and bell towers. Your private car awaits as Tuscany unfolds outside your window.

After arriving in Pisa, climb the 294 tilting steps up the Leaning Tower for dizzying views. Then, head to Lucca to walk around the old town on ramparts that double as pedestrian paths. Meanwhile, your driver will be waiting nearby for a stress-free return journey.

Pisa
Pisa, located in the Tuscan region of Italy, has more than 20 historic churches and several medieval palaces. This university town is renowned for its art and architectural treasures. Pisa has a lively street life and a vibrant cafe/bar scene. The famous Piazza dei Miracoli, or Miracles Square, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains the cityโ€™s most notorious sights. Its most famous, The Leaning Tower of Pisa, is a tilted bell tower that came to be as a result of poor construction. Today, tourists flock to the Leaning Tower for a glance at the unique structure. Feel free to climb the 300 steps to the top for a spectacular view of town. Another acclaimed monument is the Duomo Pisa, or the Pisa Cathedral. The medieval Roman Catholic cathedral, founded in 1064, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Pisaโ€™s architectural gems. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Pisa Romanesque style, is also a notable sight worth exploring. The remarkably ornate and rich history of the city make Pisa a must-see tourist destination.

Lucca
Lucca is a relatively flat city with roads open to everyone: cars, pedestrians, bicycles, and scooters alike. Although open, priority is given to pedestrians, making Lucca a walk-friendly city. Its impressive walls that surround the heart of the city are well maintained and fully intact. Despite the many years of calm that have rendered the Renaissance-era walls useless, it has now been repurposed. The entire circle is a pedestrian walkway surrounded by an outer lying stretch of green. The pedestrian promenade makes it ideal to see all of Lucca's major gems from above. Once you get back on solid ground, be sure to visit the Duomo di San Martino, the Basilica di San Frediano, and traces of the amphitheatre in Piazza dell'Anfiteatro.
