Kungsklyftan Fjallbacka

This picturesque rock formation stands high above the small fishing village beloved by actress Ingrid Bergman.

Sobre

Kungsklyftan Fjallbacka is a huge rock cleft in two located on a hill overlooking the small fishing village of Fjällbacka. The cleft was originally called “Ramneklovan”, but was renamed in 1887 after King Oscar II came and placed his signature on the northern wall. From atop the hill you’re rewarded with a fantastic view of the nearby islands and the coast. The rock is famous throughout the country for its appearance in the beloved fairytale "Ronja the Robber’s Daughter". The town of Fjällbacka is also worth exploring. Ingrid Bergman called it her “paradise on earth”, and it’s easy to see why while walking the quiet streets or meandering along the marina. The square leading up to the Kungsklyftan is even named after the actress.
