Tinuy-an Falls

Thanks to its wide, white curtain of water, this cascade is often called the “Niagara Falls of the Philippines”.

About

At 95 meters wide Tinuy-an Falls are the widest falls in the country, and undoubtedly one of the most impressive. Unlike Niagara Falls, here, visitors can swim in the pool at the base of the falls and even ride a bamboo raft under the water curtain for a natural massage. While the main section is the largest, Tinuy-an Falls has three tiers to it, all of which are worth visiting, particularly if you’re looking for somewhere a little less crowded to swim. If you’re trying to decide when to visit, shoot for between 9 and 11 AM to catch the rainbow formed by the falls’ spray.
