Vegas Grande Waterfall

​​One of the many ​​cascades in the Topes de Collantes National Park, the Vegas Grande waterfall is the perfect destination to really immerse yourself in the Cuban wilderness. Reached by a rather demanding 1 mile hike through the jungle, you’ll hear the falls before you see them. After your trek, you’ll surely be ready for a well-deserved dip in the cool water beneath the fall’s flow. There’s even a cave beneath the falls for a view of the pool from behind the curtain. There are no facilities at the falls, so you’ll want to already be wearing your bathing suit, and definitely bring water! Please note: 10 CUP entrance fee not included. The ticket booth is about halfway along the trail, so make sure you have cash with you!
