Because of its tropical climate, La Fortuna sees a lot of rain. Bring good shoes that can stand against the mud, water, and puddles. The bus is slower, taking around 4 hours to get to La Fortuna. Also, tickets are not available online so you'll need to buy them at the station. The bus departs only once a day at 8:40 AM, so you should be at the station an hour early to make sure you secure a ticket. Finally, the ride can be a bit uncomfortable considering the bus can be filled with up to 70 people and goes through hot and humid conditions.

### San Jose to La Fortuna by a shared shuttle Taking a shared shuttle to La Fortuna is the best balance between budget and comfort. It's faster than the bus, taking just 3 hours, and you'll be in a comfortable air-conditioned van with 7 people rather than 70. The shuttle departs at 7:45 AM and 1:00 PM, so you can travel in the afternoon instead. And to relieve a lot of stress, you can book tickets in advance online. Fantastische Erfahrung! Sehr zu empfehlen!

“Ich bin sehr, sehr froh, dass ich diese Website entdeckt habe, um während meines Aufenthalts in Lima, Peru, zwei private Transfers zu buchen. Es handelte sich um zwei Einwegfahrten von jeweils etwa drei Stunden. Die Kommunikation war großartig, sobald alles per E-Mail gebucht war, und anschließend habe ich ihre App heruntergeladen. Ich hatte ein paar Probleme mit der App, aber der Kundenservice war hervorragend und hat mir sehr dabei geholfen, alles zu lösen. Ehrlich gesagt war der Kundenservice beeindruckend und hat mir das Gefühl gegeben, die richtige Entscheidung getroffen zu haben. Beide Fahrer waren genau pünktlich – überhaupt keine Probleme! Ich kann gar nicht genug Positives über den Service und die einfache Organisation sagen, besonders wenn man so weit von zu Hause reist. Großartige Arbeit vom Daytrip-Team! Rundreise durch die Toskana

“Wir hatten während unserer zweitägigen Reise durch die Toskana denselben Fahrer. Ich konnte meine eigene Reiseroute planen, sodass wir dorthin fahren konnten, wo wir wollten, und das sehen konnten, was wir sehen wollten. Marco war fantastisch! Er öffnete uns die Türen und sorgte dafür, dass meine Mutter problemlos ein- und aussteigen konnte. Im Auto gab es Wasser für uns. An beiden Tagen war er früh da, um uns abzuholen, und brachte uns so nah wie möglich an die Städte heran. Er erklärte uns, wo wir in die Städte hineingehen sollten, und schickte mir anschließend seinen Standort, damit wir nach unserem Spaziergang durch die Straßen wieder zu ihm zurückfinden konnten. Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich mich entschieden habe, einen Fahrer zu buchen, der uns durch die Toskana fährt. So mussten wir uns keine Sorgen machen oder Stress haben, in einer Region zu fahren, die ich nicht kannte und in der ich nicht wusste, wo man parken kann. Das Geld war es absolut wert!”

Es war eine fantastische Reise.

“Wir waren äußerst zufrieden mit der Qualität des Services, den wir von Day Trip erhalten haben. Wir hatten zwei Fahrten mit Day Trip, am 31. August von Athen nach Lefkada und am 7. September von Lefkada zurück nach Athen. Beide Fahrten beinhalteten Stopps an landschaftlich reizvollen Orten in Griechenland. Beide Fahrer waren ausgezeichnet und entgegenkommend. Besonders möchten wir jedoch Panos Peppas hervorheben, der unser Fahrer von Lefkada nach Athen war. Panos war unglaublich nett und angenehm und bot herausragenden Kundenservice, der das Tragen unseres gesamten Gepäcks, die Bereitstellung von kaltem Wasser während der Fahrt, das Bereitstellen von Proteinriegeln, das Aushändigen von Informationsmaterial über den Korinthkanal (einen der landschaftlichen Stopps), das Nachschlagen und Weitergeben von Terminal- und Gate-Informationen für unseren Rückflug sowie das Bereitstellen eines Rezepts für Tzatziki umfasste.”

Preisgünstiger und sicherer Transport

“Gonzalo von Daytrip war unser Fahrer und er war absolut großartig. Er hat alles gegeben, um uns zu finden, da unser Handysignal nicht besonders gut war. Geduldig wartete er in der Lobby auf unsere Ankunft, um uns vom Tulum Dreams Resort zu unserem anderen Hotel in Cancún zu bringen, eineinhalb Stunden entfernt, in der Nähe des Flughafens, vor unserem Heimflug. Er war höflich, respektvoll und freundlich. Er sorgte dafür, dass wir uns während der langen Fahrt wohl fühlten. Schnell und auf den Punkt. Ich empfehle dieses Unternehmen, denn es ist nicht einfach oder günstig, eine einfache Fahrt von Tulum nach Cancún zu finden, und dieses Unternehmen bietet einen großartigen Service zu einem fairen Preis. Daytrip enttäuscht nie

“Marianna holte uns ab, um uns von Heraklion nach Chania zu fahren. Das Wetter war schrecklich und deshalb kam Marianna ein paar Minuten zu spät. Sie kontaktierte mich, um mich darüber zu informieren. Marianna lebt in Chania und machte unsere Fahrt sehr interessant, indem sie uns über lokale Aktivitäten und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Chania erzählte. Marianna ist eine sichere Fahrerin und wir fühlten uns alle wohl mit ihrer Fahrweise und Geschwindigkeit, selbst bei starkem Regen. Sie ist eine sehr nette Person und spricht fließend Englisch. Wir empfehlen Daytrip wärmstens, und wenn Sie in Heraklion oder Chania sind, fragen Sie unbedingt nach Marianna.”

Tolle Seite zur Buchung von Transport, sehr einfach

“Wirklich tolle Seite, ich kann sie sehr empfehlen, wenn man lange Transportstrecken plant. Man bezahlt für die Bequemlichkeit, auf eigene Faust im Voraus zu buchen, ohne auf den öffentlichen Nahverkehr warten zu müssen. Wir buchten 3 Fahrten in Costa Rica: San José nach La Fortuna, La Fortuna nach Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio nach San José. Die Kommunikation vor und während der Reise war großartig, sehr einfacher Prozess. Unser Fahrer für die erste und letzte Fahrt war César Matamoros, er war großartig! Er sprach Englisch und Spanisch und war sehr sachkundig über das Land. Wir haben viel von ihm gelernt! Unser anderer Fahrer für die zweite Fahrt hieß Jason, und er sprach hauptsächlich Spanisch. Wir machten einen Stopp während der Fahrt in einem wunderschönen Garten, und er wartete auf uns, während wir diesen erkundeten. Er machte auch einen Bonusstopp für uns an der Krokodilbrücke!”
