Fantastic contemporary art installations add an air of whimsy to this pleasant parkland.
Jupiter Artland was founded in 1999 by art collectors Robert and Nicky Wilson within the 80 acre estate of the 19th century Bonnington House. The garden is a playful pairing of art and nature with no set routes - visitors instead are encouraged to explore the park in their own way, enjoying the thrill of discovering the singular sculptures spread throughout the park. The mood is set as soon as visitors enter the park with the crafted landscape of Charles Jencks' 'Life Mounds', which isn’t meant to just be seen, but experienced.
