âWe used MyDayTrip three times while we were in Greece. They don't have a great train system (yet) like other European countries, and we did not feel comfortable renting a car and navigating the roads ourselves. I cannot say enough great things about this service. The prices were comparable to train tickets (had they existed) for the distances we were traveling. We went from Athens to Delphi, then Delphi to Meteora, then Meteora back to Athens. On our last trip, I called our driver, Stavros, to tell him we were stranded at a monastery in Meteora and couldn't find transportation back to our hotel, and he was willing to pick us up from there and take us to our hotel to get our bags. He even brought us lunch!

âI scheduled a transfer with Daytrip: Kalabaka to Delphi, Greece. The following day, my sister scheduled a transfer: Delphi to Athens with 2 tours along the way. Our driver for both days was Stavros. He arrived at our hotel on day 1 exactly on time. He was the best! His car was roomy and immaculate. He was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. He knew the perfect spots to stop for photo ops. On day 2 he arrived and told us 1 of our tours would not be available due to mudslides the night before due to storms that had rolled through. He offered several alternatives. We ended up being with him for about 7 hours that day and had a great time. Stavros was the ultimate professional. Daytrip is really the way to go...private car, great driver, stop whenever you want, learn about the country and culture from a local who speaks English. All in all a positive experience from start to finish!â
