Taiwan
Situated at the junction of the Tamsui and Keelung rivers, this haven of wetlands, marshes and hills will welcome you with ecological diversity.
Established to preserve the precious natural resources of the region, Guandu Nature Park offers an immersive experience in the natural world. Wooden trails, bird-watching cabins, and knowledgeable guides enable visitors to get up close to the area's wildlife and ecosystems. The park's nature center serves multiple roles, acting as an information hub, exhibition space, research facility, and service center. It features biological displays, an auditorium, presentation rooms, a gift shop, an observatory bird-watching area, special exhibition spaces, classrooms, and a refreshment area. The Riverside Biological Area along the Quitzekeng River showcases aquatic and water-tolerant plants, creating a typical riverside wetland landscape inhabited by fish and animals adapted to seawater. It’s a prime spot for birds to feed and rest along the riverside, inviting visitors to experience their beauty.
