Hamar is the largest city in the county of Hedmark and boasts waterfront views to the gorgeous Mjøsa lake, along with a treasure trove of scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage. Hamar, along with the nearby Lillehammer, played host to the 1994 Winter Olympic Games, which were remembered as some of the best of any Olympics.
