While difficult, the journey is worth every step, with picturesque viewpoints starting partway up the hill and becoming increasingly beautiful as your elevation increases. Hikers should come prepared for a moderately strenuous hike, with proper footwear and adequate water, food, and additional layers of clothing. The trail is most popular from December to March, and visitors can expect to see plenty of other outdoor enthusiasts along the trail in both directions.
