德曼诺夫斯卡自由洞穴位于高塔特拉山脉807米高处，延伸8,126米，公开开放的部分长达1,800米。在这个广泛的隧道系统内，发现了现在已经灭绝的洞穴熊的骨骼，这也赋予了“熊的通道”这个名字。走进高达41米、长75米的大圆顶，仿佛走进了一个地下大教堂。由于洞穴的大小和深度，全年温度保持在6-8摄氏度，因此记得带上外套！
