At ViaSea, the world's first multi-climate-themed aquarium, you can go on an underwater journey through carefully recreated ecosystems. See fish spanning tropical, polar, and temperate zones, all under one roof. ViaSea sprawls across 8 acres in Istanbul's Tuzla region. It houses over 12,000 sea creatures in 47 distinct themed exhibitions containing more than five million liters of water. The complex features Istanbul's longest underwater tunnel, where you can walk among predatory sharks, century-old giant tortoises, and scary Nile crocodiles. Beyond a conventional zoo, ViaSea offers unique interactive experiences, from feeding carp and batoidea to participating in educational workshops led by marine biologists. The innovative "behind the scenes" tour provides rare glimpses into diving facilities, fish feeding, and veterinary laboratories. It was even recently enhanced with Arctic Explorer BroadcastAR technology, so now you can interact with virtual orcas, seals, and penguins in a photo-realistic 3D environment.
