These water-filled caves have their own constellations courtesy of the beautiful blue glow worms.
The Abbey Caves are three separate caverns nestled in the jungle that have been left completely in their natural state. You’ll want to have sturdy shoes, a torch (flashlight), and sturdy shoes for your visit - there’s no smooth path, and no lights. And be prepared to get wet - all three caves have water in them that you’ll have to go through to get to the main draw: glow worms! Dotting the ceiling of the darkest recesses of the caves, these subterranean constellations are actually carnivorous larvae hoping to catch their next meal with their beautiful glow. Please note: the caves are completely unsupervised and undeveloped, so not recommended for people with mobility issues.
