At the Aruba Aloe Factory Museum, you’ll learn more about the ubiquitous plant which was first introduced to the island in 1840. Aruba quickly became the world’s largest aloe exporter, covering two-thirds of its surface with aloe vera plants, and this destination is where the very first plants were cultivated. During daily guided tours, knowledgeable guides will reveal the secrets of the aloe plant and its versatile uses. Inside the museum, you'll immerse yourself in Aruba's 160-year aloe history, with a vast collection of ancient aloe tools and equipment, along with a comprehensive library detailing the history, manufacturing, and qualities of aloe vera. Don’t leave without picking up some of their premium skin, hair, and sun care products, derived from this potent aloe, and celebrated for its countless benefits. The museum and store are open from 8AM to 5PM from Monday to Saturday, and 9AM to 1PM on Sunday. Entrance and the guided tour are free.
