United Kingdom
The last 5 decades of British life are brought to life in miniature - with a healthy dose of English humour.
Babbacombe Model Village was opened in 1963 by Tom Dobbins, who had previously opened another model village in Southport. While the village is entirely fictional, there are quite a few recognizable UK landmarks, including Stonehenge and The Shard. Along with traditional scenes of canals and cul-de-sacs, the village has a few surprises in store, like super-heroes and a fire-breathing dragon. Be sure to keep an eye out for very British puns like Ivor Faggot Butcher and Terry Bull Gardening Service, Decorators. There’s also a 4D theatre, which has screens special themed short films for the holidays. For more information, please visit model-village.co.uk
