Bimmah Sinkhole

This sinkhole by the sea is a beautiful place to take a refreshing dip.

About

While geologists have confirmed the Bimmah Sinkhole was formed the usual way, locals prefer their legend that it was made by a crashing meteorite - hence the name Haweat Najm (The Falling Star) Park. The beautiful turquoise waters are a mixture of fresh groundwater mixes and salt water from the sea, which is only a stone’s throw away. Dare-devils often make the 20 meter leap into the 65-foot deep pool, while a concrete staircase makes for a safer descent for those who just want to dip their feet in the water and let the fish nibble at their toes.
