Cenotes Kin-Ha

A small hole in the ground opens up into a beautifully illuminated cave where you can swim and dive.

About

Cenotes Kin-Ha is a large underground dome, only accessible from a small “eye” in its ceiling. From above, this innocuous hole in the ground doesn’t look like much, but descend the wooden staircase and a water-filled cavern opens up before you. The light, coming in from above and reflecting off the water, illuminates the cave’s stalactites in a beautiful natural display, making for an otherworldly swimming experience. At 50 meter wide and 60 meters deep, the cenote is also popular for snorkeling and diving, which allow you to see the mushroom-shaped cave formations below the surface. The cenote lies at the heart of an eco-adventure park where you can zipline into the water or join a wild and muddy ATV adventure.
