This beautiful waterfall bounces its way through the jungle, where visitors can also hike, swim, and zipline.
The Chorro Macho waterfall bounces 35 meters down a rocky cliff face in a series of powerful streams, made especially mighty in the wet season. To reach the falls, you first follow a short walking trail through the forest where you’ll likely see the local inhabitants, and cross a mossy suspension bridge. While you can’t swim at the base of the falls, the stream flows into a nearby pool where you can enjoy a refreshing dip (for an extra fee). There’s also a short network of hiking trails and some ziplines nearby if you want to spend some extra time in the jungle.
