Morocco
Fronted by a giant croc head, and home to hundreds of Nile crocodiles, visitors can go croc-crazy at Morocco’s first croc farm.
Crocodile enthusiast Luc Fougeirol opened Crocoparc in 2015 as a way of protecting the Nile Crocodile and educating the public on these living fossils. Home to over 300 Nile crocodiles, visitors can watch these giants go about their business while signs and presentations shed light on them. While the adults are languid to say the least, the park also has a pleasant botanical garden with plants from all over the world the park’s founder, and even a lab/nursery where you can see babies and learn more about the life cycle of Africa’s largest freshwater predator.
