The Derryglad Folk and Heritage Museum is privately owned and run by the Finneran family, who have been collecting objects from everyday life for over 40 years. With over 6,000 items, this unique collection offers a glimpse into that they have been collecting for over 40 years. The collection gives a glimpse of rural Irish life from the 18th century to the recent past. From bedpans to biscuit tins and tractors, and even a few full-scale dioramas, the countless curiosities on display here offer a fun way to look at days bygone. And the cherry on top is the friendly owner who’s happy to share more about the objects.
