Desert Diamond Distillery was established by the Patt family in 2009 as the first craft distillery in Arizona. Since opening, they’ve won international awards for their four signature rums and sugar cane vodka, as well as their newly-introduced wheat whisky. On a visit to the distillery, you can tour the production area to learn more about the history and process, and admire the state-of-the-art Arnold Holstein still, or just sit down for a tasting flight of their signature spirits. Of course, there’s also the factory store where you can pick up a bottle or three of your favorites - the distinctly Southwest agave rum is a crowd favorite! If you plan your visit well in advance, you can even request a barrel of your own (they have to age 6-9 months)!
