New Zealand
This stunning waterfall surrounded by lush greenery is a heady beauty.
Plummeting 131m into a green valley, the Devil's Punchbowl Falls are tall enough to be seen from the main road, but it’s best to get up close to truly appreciate this natural marvel. A short, but somewhat demanding hike through the New Zealand bush follows the Bealey River up to a viewing platform at the rocky base of the falls. Sure, 390 steps can take a lot out of you, but it’s a lovely walk, there and back.
