South Korea
This captivating floral paradise is the largest rose garden in Korea, coming alive in spring with a colorful array of roses in various hues.
Dodang Park sits at the foot of Dodang Mountain and creates a stunning sight of roses that draws visitors from all around. Initially established by the Bucheon City Government in 1995, the rose garden was envisioned as a way to beautify and rejuvenate an area that had faced some challenges with crime. Today, the garden hosts over one million roses when each plant bears an average of seven to ten blooms. The annual Bucheon Rose Festival is held to celebrate the garden's beauty and allure, becoming a beloved tradition among locals and visitors alike. As you meander through the garden’s pathways, you’ll be enveloped by the breathtaking sight of roses in full bloom, creating a delightful and romantic ambiance. The park's sunny expanse is thoughtfully complemented by shaded areas nestled within the forested parts of the mountain, providing a welcome respite from the sun's rays. Along with the natural beauty of the roses, visitors can explore various photo zones, including a charming rose-covered tunnel.
