El Peñón de Comasagua is perched in the heart of El Salvador's scenic countryside and can be reached along hiking trails that take 1 to 1.5 hours in both directions. At the peak, you’ll be greeted with sweeping vistas that stretch across the horizon, making El Peñón a perfect spot for photography, meditation, or simply basking in nature's grandeur. The area is also home to diverse wildlife. Bottles of water are available to buy at the entrance, and the entrance fee is $2 per person and $2 per vehicle for parking. A cafe nearby is perfect for winding down after the hiking journey. Avoid travelling here after rain to avoid dangerous hiking conditions.
