Ethno Village Ljubacke Doline, established in 2010, was designed as an open-air museum to highlight community life that once inhabited the area.
The Ethno Village combines traditional architecture, material culture, and furniture from the late 19th to early 20th century. The two-acre village consists of around 30 buildings in total, including dwelling houses, barns, and a stable. All the buildings are authentic and are equipped with genuine furniture and household items from that time period. The central building of the Ethno Village is a market and showroom with over 5,000 artifacts divided into collections. In the center of the market, you can find an antique shop, a tavern, a tailor, a pharmacist, etc. The Ethno Village also hosts exhibitions and historical reenactments. Its aim is to transform itself into a fully operational arts and crafts community center.
