The Finnish Aviation Museum first opened its doors in the early 1970s, and has since expanded its collection to include dozens of historic military, commercial and private aircraft, and almost ten thousand aviation-related items. And that's not including the thousands of photographs, a library with over sixteen thousand books, over a hundred thousand aviation-related magazines, and a large collection of flight instruction and service books. Step aboard a complete Convair 440 to see how air travel was 60 years ago, check out iconic military craft like the Saab Draken and de Havilland Vampire, or try your hand at piloting in the flight simulator.
