Situated on the grounds of a former sugar plantation, with roots tracing back to around 1720, the Foursquare Rum Distillery has evolved into a captivating hub of craftsmanship and innovation. Reinvigorated by the Seale family in 1996, Foursquare Rum Distillery showcases the dedication and passion of Richard Seale, the 4th Generation Trader and Distiller. Beyond its operational factory, Foursquare also offers the immersive Heritage Park. Here, visitors step back in time amidst historic buildings, colonial architecture, and a folk museum that pay homage to the pivotal role sugar and rum have played in Barbados' history. As you explore the distillery's captivating journey, feel free to follow the footprints that guide you through the various stages of rum-making. Additionally, the on-site bar provides an opportunity to sample their remarkable rums, with a small fee enhancing your tasting experience. The site is open 7:30AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday.
