The spectacle that awaits at Fourteen Falls should come as no surprise - the is right there in the name! Located just outside of Thika town along the Athi River, this striking natural wonder features a 27 metre drop as water cascades over the rocks below. The rapid water foams as it descends the drop, creating an impressive photo opportunity not to be missed! At the falls you can rent a boat with a guide for an up-close experience and bird-watching is a favourite here, too. Of course, you may opt to simply enjoy the views and take in the nature to the somehow-peaceful soundtrack of water crashing around you. Sometimes, you’ll even see locals diving from the top of the falls into the icy water below! Warning: DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELF!
