Within the eco-conscious city of Jaworzno, there are 41 plant species under strict protection and 11 under partial protection. The city has several protected areas within its boundaries, but this park in an old quarry is the only one dedicated to education. Walking trails wind through the natural flora, and open spaces give locals a place to relax and picnic. Along the way, signs educate visitors about geology, evolution, and local plants and their uses. For guests with kids, or just those who are young at heart, the metal dinosaur statues offer a quirky photo opportunity.
