Gitgit Waterfall

Pouring 40 meters into a lush forest valley, Gitgit Waterfall is a favourite among tourists and locals alike. Part of this is because it’s only about a 15 minute walk from the road to the roaring waters. Once you reach the falls, you can cool off by plunging into the river’s pools, or enjoy the view from the small shrine. If one waterfall isn’t enough, you can follow Gitgit’s waters to the nearby Mekalongan waterfall (just add time to your stop).
