Heureka was established to "provide the joy of discovery to everyone." As one of the largest Finnish centers of its kind, Heureka is known for its interactive experiences, which are guaranteed to engage visitors of all ages. It has numerous exhibitions, a planetarium, "idea workshops", educational programs, and events. The museum’s outdoor area, a sort of “scientific playground,” can be visited during the summer. One of the most popular exhibits at Heureka is "The Body," which allows visitors to explore the human body through interactive exhibits and displays. And, in case you didn’t know: the name "Heureka" comes from the Greek exclamation of discovery, "Eureka!", which was reportedly shouted by the ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes when he discovered the principle of buoyancy.
