Hitachi Seaside Park is renowned for its iconic blue nemophila flowers, which transform Miharashi Hill into a breathtaking sea of blue during spring, typically peaking from late April to mid-May. The hill's winding paths offer panoramic vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the entire park. In the fall, Miharashi Hill becomes adorned with green kokia bushes, gradually transitioning to vibrant red, creating a stunning autumnal display from early to mid-October. Beyond seasonal blooms, the park offers year-round attractions. Wander through the expansive Hitachinaka Nature Forest via walking trails or cycling paths, explore a mini-village of traditional rural structures, or enjoy outdoor activities and game areas. A small amusement park, featuring a giant ferris wheel with panoramic park and ocean views, adds to the park's charm. The park is open 9:30AM to 5PM daily and closed on Tuesdays.
