The Hoeamsaji Museum contains the remains of Hoeamsa Temple, dating back to the Goryeo and early Joseon periods. Observe the temple's underground structures, which have been preserved since its closure in the late 16th century, and head to the observation deck for a panoramic view of the complex. Engage in programs that provide insights into Yangju's history, including the study of temple roof plates and puzzles that delve into the city's past. As the largest royal temple of its time, the museum sheds light on Hoeamsa's history and its role in the royal and Buddhist cultures. It has become a recognized National Historic Site, offering a comprehensive understanding of the temple's significance through annual excavations and research. The museum is open from 9AM to 6PM daily, with admission ranging from 1,000 KRW to 2,000 KRW.
