Australia
These ancient rock formations display the majesty of the animals they represent in some of the most beautiful settings in Australia.
Both Horse Head Rock and Camel Rocks were formed millions of years ago, and until recently were not well known outside of the New South Wales region of Australia. It has become a great place for nature lovers and photographers alike. Begin at Camel Rocks, a beautiful beach, perfect for snorkeling and the untouched views of the rocks. Then, trek 1.5 kilometres to Horse Head Rock, which is an elevated bush walk to the rocks. It is important to note that part of this walk sets out along the rocks of Camel Rocks beach, and can only be trekked through low tide. You’ll be struck by the untouched beauty of these interesting formations, and easily catch that perfect photo op!
