Established in 1962, Khao Yai National Park is the oldest in the country, and at 2168 sq km, the 3rd largest. Despite its size, Khao Yai is one of the most accessible nature experiences in the country. A network of trails and guide options make it easy to get into one of Asia’s largest intact monsoon forests and see the the rich variety of wildlife that call Khao Yai home. Here, you have the chance to see wild elephants, monkeys, deer, over 300 species of bird, countless insects, and a single Siamese crocodile.
